Wouldn’t it have been wonderful if you had never had a problem with porn or ED in the first place? Just gone on with your life without a worry in the world?

You would think so, but probably not.

The rude awakening to your situation might have been the best thing that’s ever happened to you.

The Reality of Normal

We have experienced what a “normal” or average life is like.

This is what average and normal looks like sooner or later

Waking up tired in the morning.

Either going to school to study subjects you hardly care about, or a job that you barely enjoy.

Once home you eat something, and then drown your misery in porn, video games, television shows and even alcohol in the weekends.

Normal Is a Dream Killer

Where are the fulfilled dreams in a normal life?

Where is there even time or energy to go after your dreams in a normal life?

Words like average or normal sound like cuss words to me. The idea of living a normal life makes me sick.

The system we are being sold is broken.

Your Awakening

One day you stumbled upon the concept of rebooting.

Perhaps you were googling for answers as to why you couldn’t get a boner with that girl of yours. You might have seen a weird subreddit or a TED talk caught your eye.

Regardless, you found the community. Read the science and the anecdotal reports and understood that you can take conscious control of your sexual health.

You woke up to the reality where what you were told by everyone was dead wrong.

That same reality was one where you could create the life you envisioned by taking consistent action towards it.

Suddenly you held the keys to the kingdom.

Think BIGGER

The beautiful thing is that there are more of those eureka moments out there:

If you improve yourself and consistently talking to women, you can get the dating life you want.

By acquiring the right knowledge and skills, making money and realizing your financial security becomes easy.

Through disciplined diet and exercise, you can improve your energy, health and get the body you have always wanted.

I know those seem like cliché self-help marketing speeches.

“Get the body you deserve!”

Yeah right. The body you have right now is the one you deserve.

I’m not selling you shit. I’m also not pretending that it will be easy. There are no 10-minute abs, gentlemen.

Everything you want to have must be earned through blood, sweat and tears.

Design your dream life

You might be struggling right now. Your rebooting isn’t working as well as you want and you got none of those other things. Not the body, not the money, and definitely not the women.

That’s good. Most great men in history rose from great strife and struggle.

That doesn’t stop you from designing what the life of your dreams would look like.

What does your dream life look like? Where do you want to be in five years?

Take a piece of paper and spend as much time as you want on jotting down how you want your life to look like. Go deeper than things you wish to have, go right down to who you want to become and how do you want your life to feel.

Do not censor yourself during this process. Allow and encourage yourself to go unrealistic.

Go ahead and do this now.

Take action

Almost everyone has made at least one bucket list or a few paragraphs defining their dream life.

Then they put down the notebook and go about their lives just as before. Eventually they forget about the whole thing and later re-do the exercise a year or two later.

I certainly have done it at least a dozen times. It never amounted to anything before I realized the crucial aspect of identifying what I can do today to live my dreams tomorrow.

It’s Now Or Never

People are stuck in a cycle of no change, because they do not take consistent action.

Nothing that you do not do today will ever manifest into the future.

If you do not work out today, you won’t be fit in the future. If you don’t meditate today, you’ll never be more mindful.

It’s now or never. A common saying that conceptualizes the key to success in just four words.

A mistake everyone has made is to think that by some magic things are achieved later. That in a few months, we’ll suddenly be avid meditators, energetic runners and financial experts.

But in reality, it will just be you… just two weeks from now. Or a month from now. That future you is you right now. And if you do not take action, he will not do it either.

Note that I am not preaching this to you from any point of superiority.

I remind myself of this shit every single day and essentially wrote this whole article to myself.

Losers give shit to others, winners bust their own balls.

Let’s put on those boxing gloves and start swinging

So let’s both of us identify what we can do today to move toward that goal we have.

It might be a pittance at first or at least feel like it.

Saving up 5 cents toward financial independence. Meditating for one minute. Not binging after a relapse.

While none of these make great leaps or bounds toward success, it is taking action right now that makes all the difference.

When starting out, the principle of taking the action matters more than the action itself.

Improving 0,0001% today is better than improving 100% some day.

Take full advantage of your awakening

By apparent poor luck you have found yourself having a problem with porn. By understanding that the mainstream is horribly misguided on the topic, you can now see a path to success.

Use this experience as a catalyst to change the rest of your life as well. Wake up from the dreams, goals and paths society has given you and reflect on them. Are they really what you want for you?

Take this opportunity to re-think everything.

What type of relationships and friendships do you wish to have? Do you really want that career? How much money do you wish to have?

Whatever it is that you truly wish, has a way towards it. Once you have identified what it is you want, then you will eventually find the roadmap.

It is a long road from where you now stand. Rather than focusing on the end result, focus on the process itself.

As a result, your enjoyment and satisfaction will be greater than if you were gritting your teeth through the whole process.

Wake up from your unconsciousness and unplug from society’s negative influence.

Be the Wolf not the sheep.
