Hello, my name is Richard Wolf.

Now that the blog has got on track, I believe it is time for me to introduce myself!

I’ll start with my own story, how I found the rebooting community and then ramble a bit about the aim of this website.

Why Blaming And Hating Yourself Are The Two Worst Things For Your Reboot

We rarely take an empathetic attitude towards ourselves not matter what the issue is.

It’s human nature to demand more of ourselves than anyone else would have the right to demand.

But that often leads to a lot of self-hatred and putting ourselves down when relapses happen, which is downright harmful.

The Art Of Using K9 Effectively

There is much criticism on internet blockers in the community. It is true that they are no Fort Knox and will not keep a determined soul away from porn, at least not for long.

But I would defend the blockers. They are good at what they are designed to do, which isn’t to be impassable defenses. Regardless, I think they have a lot of value.

But there are other reasons to avoid them during a reboot that often go unheard.

Why Self-Awareness Is The Cornerstone Of A Successful Recovery

Self-awareness is the one skill that makes or breaks your reboot.

It’s what stands between you and insanity.

And I mean insanity in its definition of: doing the same things over and over again, expecting different results.

Why Meditation Is The King of Habits For Every Rebooter

Meditation has been all the rage during the past few years.

But the fact remains that meditation is the most useful habit for every single rebooter out there. A bold claim, so let’s take a look at the reasoning behind it.
